1. Acceptance
By using Treva you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload. By uploading, you grant Treva a licence to store and display it to members of your vault. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.
3. Subscriptions and data retention
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, at which point your vault reverts to the free plan (2 GB storage limit). All family tree data, stories, and photos within the 2 GB free limit are kept indefinitely. Photos that exceed the free storage limit will be permanently deleted 30 days after cancellation. You will receive an email notice when your subscription ends.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use Treva to upload illegal content, violate third-party privacy, or circumvent security measures.
5. Limitation of liability
Treva is provided “as is”. We are not liable for data loss — please keep your own backups. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Treva is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
